THE CLIENT CHALLENGE:
The client wished to fulfill its government mandate to support home ownership in the market segment not traditionally entered by the mainstream banks by creating a dedicated home loans business unit
HOW WE ASSISTED:
We conducted the feasibility assessment and built the Board investment case. Post approval we programme managed the detailed design, set up and launch of the new business. The assignment included performing the market opportunity assessment, market penetration strategy, product and process design, outsourcing processing and automated credit decisioning and building the internal capability
RESULTS DELIVERED:
The new business was successfully designed and launched, meeting the targets set for the first 2 years. Organisational capability was built and ongoing support provided during the handover to the client operational team
